An open-air museum. Cape Crillon with overnight stay.
Cape Krillon is the southernmost point of Sakhalin Island. The name was given in honor of the French commander Louis-Balbes de Crillon by the great French navigator Jean-Francois de La Perouse. The Crillon is called an "open-air museum". The main attraction of Cape Krillon is the Krillon Lighthouse, which was built in 1883 and is still in operation today.
